This is a really neat antique history book that was used in classrooms for many years in this country. It is called the Beginner's American History written by Montgomery. This book was published in 1931. It has color illustrations inside which is rare for a book of it's age. It is in really nice condition.The binding is tight, but does show some wear. It is hard back but has no dust jacket. The books is slightly dirty, probably from all of the children's hands that have been all over it. There are some markings inside, names, the name of of a school, there are also a few pen marks on the table of contents. The pages are nice, but dirty in some parts of the book also.
Over all a nice collectible book and still very readable!
